Approximately 35 company employees are now based in Houston. Superior Offshore also employs approximately 665 offshore personnel at locations in North America, Africa and the Middle East. The company completed an initial public offering of common stock on April 25, 2007.
Superior Offshore International is a leading provider of subsea construction and commercial diving services to the offshore oil and gas industry, serving operators in the outer continental shelf and deep waters of the U.S. Gulf of Mexico was well as offshore Mexico, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. Commercial diving services include inspection, maintenance and repair services and support services for subsea construction and salvage operations.
