# XTO Energy will drill the H.D. Black Gas Unit Well No. 4 in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field and the Wheeler Gas Unit Well No. 2 in the Cheneyboro (Cotton Valley) Field. The No. 4 well will hit 13,000 feet in the Thomas P. Whitmore Survey, A-638. Location is one mile east of Teague. The No. 2 well will hit 11,200 feet in the Bennett, JL Survey, A-55. Location is 3.5 miles east of Streetman, the well may also be drilled in a wildcat field or the Cheneyboro (Travis Peak) Field.

# The Hartley Unit Well No. 4 will be drilled 1.1 miles southwest of Teague and the Hartley Well No. 5 will be drilled 1.9 miles southwest of Teague, both in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. Anderson County
Burk Royalty will drill the Boggy Creek Well No. 1 in the Boggy Creek Field. The well will be drilled to 4,500 feet in the David Roberts Survey, A-662.


Cherokee County
The Sessions, Rube Well No. 3 will be drilled by Goodrich Petroleum 1.1 miles northeast of Wells in the Raintree (Hosston) Field to 12,500 feet. The well will lie in the Lewis, IR Survey, A-534 and may also be drilled in the Raintree (Cotton Valley) Field or the Doyle Creek (Travis Peak) Field.


Gregg County
The Griffin Ranch G.U. 8 Well No. 2 will be drilled 4.6 miles northeast of Kilgore in the Danville, East (Cotton Valley) Field by Geo-Vest of Texas to 13,000 feet. The well will lie in the Edwards, H Survey, A-64 and may also be drilled in a wildcat field or the Danville (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.


Harrison County
# In a lease 11.3 miles east of Marshall, in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field, the Sinclair-Westmoreland CV Well No. 1 will be drilled by Loutex Production. The well will hit 11,500 feet in the Smith, W Survey, A-21.

# O'Benco will drill the Doyle Harris Unit Well No. 5 in the Darco, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field 9.7 miles south of Marshall in the Carrol, E Survey, A-135. Depth will be 11,000 feet. The well may also be drilled in the Blocker (Page) Field or a wildcat field.

# Samson Lone Star will drill the Coleman Gas Unit 2 Well No. 5 in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field to 12,500 feet in the Dougherty, P Survey, A-5. Location is 6.5 miles northwest of Waskom. This well may also be drilled in a wildcat field, the Waskom (Cotton Valley 8300) Field or the Waskom (Cotton Valley, Oil) Field.

# The Jo Ann Scott Well No. 4 will be drilled 9.3 miles southeast of Marshall in a wildcat field by GMX Resources to 11,800 feet in the Williams, W Survey, A-757. EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) will drill the TXU Minin Co. North Well No. 2 in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field to 12,800 feet. The well is 8.3 miles northwest of Bald Prairie in the Lynenburg, C Survey, A-316.


Nacogdoches County
# In a lease 10.5 miles west of Nacogdoches, in the Douglass, West (Travis Peak) Field, the Douglass GU 8 Well No. 7 will be drilled by Samson Lone Star. The well will hit 12,000 feet in the Wilson, J Survey, A-59 and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

# The J.F. Deloney "B-1" Gas Unit Well No. 7 will be drilled 3.1 miles southwest of Garrison in the Appleby, North (Pettit) Field to 10,200 feet by EOG Resources. The well will lie in the Hays, W Survey, A-292 and may also be drilled in the Appleby, North (Travis Peak) Field.

# Goodrich Petroleum will drill the Sealey, May Well No. 2 in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field 11.1 miles southwest of Tatum in the Robinson, JP Survey, A-571. This well will hit 11,500 feet and may also be drilled in the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field or a wildcat field.

# The Hogg, Allie Marie Well No. 10 will be drilled 12 miles north of Carthage in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field by Hunt Petroleum to 12,000 feet in the Hammer, LT Survey, A-335.

# Chevron U.S.A. will drill four new wells. In the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field, the Jeanette Harrell Unit Well No. 8 is 8.6 miles west of Carthage in the Romero, MA Survey, A-1. In the Carthage (Travis Peak) Field, the Werner-Geneva Gas Unit Well No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 will be drilled. The No. 3 is 9.7 miles southeast of Carthage in the Koyle, JS Survey, A-380. The No. 4 is 9.5 miles southeast of Carthage in the Koyle, JS Survey, A-380. The No. 5 is 9.9 miles southeast of Carthage in the Davis, T Survey, A-175. All wells will hit 10,500 feet and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

# In a lease 7.7 miles northeast of Carthage, in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field, the Carthage Gas Unit Well No. 235 will be drilled by EOG Resources to 10,000 feet in the Gibson, JH Survey, A-8/61.

# The Barryer Well No. 1 is 2.5 miles northeast of Beckville and the Barryer Well No. 2 is three miles northeast of Beckville, both in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. Comstock Oil & Gas will drill the wells to 10,500. The wells will lie in the Koyle, RE Survey, A-381.

In a lease 6.6 miles northeast of Franklin, in a wildcat field, the BR Marguerite Well No. 1 will be drilled by Burlington Resources Oil & Gas to 17,100 feet in the Pereira, P/Grande, J&M Survey, A-32. This well may also be drilled in the Savell (Bossier Sand) Field.


Rusk County
# The Taylor Well No. 2 and No. 3 will be drilled by Chesapeake Operating to 12,000 feet. The No. 2 is 0.5 miles south of Brachfield in a wildcat field. This well may also be drilled in the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field, the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field or the Shiloh (Rodessa) Field. The No. 3 is 0.8 miles south of Brachfield in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well may also be drilled in the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field, the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field or the Shiloh (Rodessa) Field. Both wells will lie in the Vansickle, BA Survey, A-796.

# Buffco Production will drill the Weaver-Kidd Well No. 1 in a wildcat field to 11,500 feet in the Walling, A G Survey, A-811 6.8 miles northeast of Henderson. This well may also be drilled in the New Prospect (Travis Peak A) Field or the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field.

The Glen Heintschel Gas Unit Well No. 1H will be drilled to 6,747 feet by Hunt Petroleum 4.7 miles southeast of Shelbyville in the Huxley (6100) Field. The well will lie in the Lindsey, C Survey, A-41.


Smith County
3-T Exploration will drill the Hendrix Well No. 2A to 7,500 feet in the Lane Chapel (Paluxy A Sand) Field 5.7 miles northeast of Tyler in the Turner, W Survey, A-979.


Upshur County
A wildcat field will see the Stout Well No. 1 drilled by Southwestern Energy Production to 12,100 feet 13.6 miles northwest of Gilmer. The well will lie in the Gibson, H Survey, A-178.


Van Zandt County
The Crim, Bill Well No. 9 and No. 10 will be drilled in the Van (Shallow) Field by Omni Oil & Gas. The wells will hit 1,400 feet in the Nacogdoches CSL Survey, A-620. Both wells are two miles north of Van.

Angelina County

The Stanley Crossman "C" Unit Well No. 1 has been completed by EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) in the Raintree Field. No location or total depth recorded. This well potentialed 2.301 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Hosston formation.


Cherokee County
When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the Chronister Heirs Well No. 6 potentialed 3.022 million cubic feet of gas per day. The well is 5.3 miles north of Wells in the Doyle Creek Field drilled by XTO Energy. Depth is 12.597 feet. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.


Freestone County
# Reserve Management has completed the drilling of the Horton Well No. 2 in the Nan-Su-Gail Field seven miles east of Fairfield with a depth of 12,970 feet. This well was gauged on a 14/64-inch choke and potentialed 3.000 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

# XTO Energy has completed the Dunlap Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 5 and the John Eppes Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 12. The No. 5 is 3.1 miles southwest of Fairfield in the Reed Field with a depth of 12,307 feet. The well potentialed 1.622 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Haynesville Consolidated formation. The No. 12 is 5.2 miles southeast of Teague in the Freestone Field with a depth of 12,390 feet. The well potentialed 489,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.

# The Teague Field has seen the Pickett No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 12 and the Kirsch Gas Unit Well No. 17 completed by XTO Energy. The No. 12 is 5.2 miles southwest of Fairfield with a depth of 12,943 feet. When gauged on a 24/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 3.778 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The No. 17 is five miles east of Teague with a depth of 12,650 feet. When gauged on an 18/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 4.391 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.

# Devon Energy Production has completed the Peter Daniel Estate Well No. 6 and the Evans, A.O. GU Well No. 21 in the Dew Field. The No. 6 is 3.7 miles southwest of Dew with a depth of 12,595 feet. This well potentialed 2.526 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 26/64-inch choke. The No. 21 is 3.9 miles southwest of Dew with a depth of 12,475 feet. This well potentialed 2.200 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 42/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

# When gauged on a 12/64-inch choke, the Worthy "A" Unit Well No. 2 potentialed 1.230 million cubic feet of gas per day. The well is 2.9 miles southeast of Donie with a depth of 14,555 feet. The well was drilled in the Bear Grass Field by Andarko Petroleum. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.


Harrison County
# The Downer Well No. 8 flowed with 10.07 barrels of crude per day on an adjustable choke. The well is 3.5 miles southwest of Waskom in the Waskom Field and was drilled to 9,555 feet by Devon Energy Production. Production is in the Travis Peak 1 formation.

# When gauged on a 24/64-inch choke, the Pearl Stone Well No. 1 potentialed 1.045 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The well is 6.9 miles southwest of Waskom in the Waskom Field. Comstock Oil & Gas drilled the well to 9,930 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

# Comstock Oil & Gas has completed the Harrison, B.S. Well No. 7 in the Darco, Southeast Field 9.3 miles south of Marshall to 10,295 feet. This well was gauged on a 24/64-inch choke and potentialed 418,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

# The Rutland Well No. 2 is 8.4 miles southeast of Marshall in the Hardwood Field. The well was completed by Peoples Energy Production -TX to 10,270 feet. When gauged on a 41/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.036 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

# There has been four new wells completed by Penn Virginia Oil & Gas in the Carthage, North Field. The Gulley Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 9 is 2.9 miles northeast of Crossroads with a depth of 10,081 feet. The well potentialed 1.588 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 21/64-inch choke. The Boomer Unit Well No. 1 is 1.7 miles northeast of Karnack with a depth of 10,600 feet. The well potentialed 668,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 21/64-inch choke. The Slack Well No. 3 is 1.2 miles northwest of Karnack with a depth of 10,067 feet. The well potentialed 598,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 21/64-inch choke. The Rosehaven Well No. 5 is 8.8 miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 10,100 feet. The well potentialed 802,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 21/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

# In a lease 4.5 miles southwest of Waskom, in the Waskom Field, Samson Lone Star completed the Abney, R.K. Well No. 2 to 9,808 feet. The well potentialed 1.020 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 24/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

# Samson Lone Star has also completed the Sandy Gas Unit Well No. 4 in the Waskom Field, to 11,720 feet. This well is 5.5 miles north of Elysian Fields and potentialed 25,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 38/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.


Leon County
# When gauged on an 18/64-inch choke, the Hannah Watson GU 1 Well No. 1 potentialed 1.017 million cubic feet of gas per day. The well is 1.8 miles northeast of Jewett in the Jewett Field. EnSight III Energy Management completed the well to 12,280 feet with production in the Travis Peak formation.

# In a lease 1.8 miles southeast of Buffalo, in the Red Oak Field, the Hammond Well No. 1 has been completed by Barrow-Shaver Resources. The well hits 6,800 feet and potentialed 963,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 14/64-inch choke. Production is in the Dexter formation.


Limestone County
# The Gilliam "B" No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 12 and the W.O. Stone Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 18 have been completed by XTO Energy. The No. 12 is 13 miles east of Groesbeck in the Freestone Field with a depth of 12,793 feet. This well was gauged on an 18/64-inch choke and potentialed 1.784 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation. The No. 18 is 15.4 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Farrar Field with a depth of 13,955 feet. This well was gauged on a 48/64-inch choke and potentialed 850,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation.

# When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the Gibson Well No. 18 potentialed 568,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. The well is 15.1 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Farrar Field. XTO Energy completed the well to 13,500 feet with production in the Cotton Valley Lime formation.


Panola County
# In a lease 2.8 miles west of Beckville, in the Beckville, West Field, the Davis Gas Unit Well No. 8X has been completed by Comstock Oil & Gas. The well hit 10,300 feet and potentialed 1.450 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 28/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

# The Cameron Unit 1 Well No. 6 has been completed to 6,970 feet by Lacy Operations in the Carthage Field. The well is six miles north of Carthage. When gauged on an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 286,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Page formation.

# When gauged on a 12/64-inch choke, the Shady Grove Baptist Church GU Well No. 2 potentialed 22,000 cubic feet of gas per day. The well is three miles west of Clayton in the Carthage Field. Jack L. Phillips completed the well to 9,966 feet. Production is in the Pettit, Lower Gas formation.

# Penn Virginia Oil & Gas has completed the Sparks Well No. 4 to 10,245 feet in the Carthage, North Field. The well is 4.3 miles southwest of Elysian Fields. When gauged on a 21/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.294 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

# The Carthage Field has seen the Williamson Well No. 18 completed to 9,549 feet and the Burton, John W. Well No. 18 completed to 9,680 feet by Devon Energy Production. The Williamson Well No. 18 is 3.5 miles southwest of Carthage. The well potentialed 1.763 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. The Burton, John W. Well No. 18 is 8.7 miles southwest of Carthage. The well potentialed 2.028 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

# Lacy Operations has completed the Metcalf Unit 1 Well No. 10 5.4 miles east of Beckville in the Carthage Field. The well hit 9,885 feet. The well potentialed 880,000 cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.


Robertson County
# The BR/Spiller Gas Unit Well No. 1, the T-Bar-X/Savell Gas Unit Well No. 2, the T-Bar-X/Brewer Gas Unit Well No. 3 and No. 5 have been completed in the Savell Field by Burlington Resources Oil & Gas. The No. 1 is 1.5 miles southeast of Franklin with a depth of 14,300 feet. This well was gauged on a 24/64-inch choke and potentialed 3.159 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The No. 2 is 1.3 miles southwest of Franklin with a depth of 14,100 feet. This well was gauged on a 16/64-inch choke and potentialed 6.341 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The No. 3 is one mile southeast of Franklin with a depth of 13,965 feet. This well was gauged on a 16/64-inch choke and potentialed 6.519 million cubic feet of natural gas per day per day. The No. 5 is 1.1 miles southwest of Franklin with a depth of 13,796 feet. This well was gauged on a 20/64-inch choke and potentialed 6.884 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Bossier Sand formation.

# In a lease 7.4 miles southwest of Marquez, in the Bohlwhite Field, the Riley Trust Well No. 6 has been completed to 15,650 feet by Marathon Oil. When gauged on an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 729,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation.


Rusk County
When gauged on an adjustable choke, the Major Kennedy Estate GU Well No. 16 potentialed 593,000 cubic feet of gas per day. The well is 19.2 miles northeast of Henderson in the Oak Hill Field. Anadarko E&P has completed the well to 10,545 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.


Shelby County
# The Nobles Well No. 9 is 10 miles west of Center in the Stockman Field. The well was drilled by Encore Operating to 8,700 feet. When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 677,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

# Maximus Operating completed the drilling of the R&M Farms Unit Well No. 2 T in the Carthage, South Field. The well is 0.7 miles northwest of Joaquin with a depth of 9,870 feet. This well was gauged on a 20/64-inch choke and potentialed 687,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
